Our proprietary technologies ensure that every diamond and gemstone is accurately identified as naturally mined, lab-grown, or a simulant. Our reports are trusted worldwide by gemologists, suppliers, and retailers for their unmatched reliability and precision, making them essential for any fine jewelry transaction.

DIS is the only lab to have received the JNA Award twice, in 2014 and 2019. We are also the first company to identify a quarter of a point diamond in jewelry, and our research department regularly publishes groundbreaking discoveries, such as the removal of fluorescence from diamonds. We were the first to explain and demonstrate this process, which, when integrated with other technologies, enhances the accuracy of desktop machines in providing reliable results.

Hong Kong-based Diamond Services, a developer of technological systems and services for detecting synthetic, imitation and treated diamonds, says research it conducted indicates that High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT) created diamonds subjected to irradiation treatment may not be detected by many of the screening devices that test diamonds at room temperature.
